The City of Peoria's Purchasing Department issued eight (8) requests for bids and received five (5) responses. The bids were evaluated by the Labor/Management Spec Committee for their adherence to our specifications.

Manufacturer Price for Both
Banner (E-One) $907,920.00
Pierce $911,028.00
KME $912,416.00
Alexis HME $916,919.00
Sutphen $1,015,024.00

The bid price from Banner Fire Equipment Company (E-One) includes a discount for 100% prepayment for the purchase price.

The remaining $2,080.00 in the 2016 Community Investment Plan will be used for technological modifications and installation on these two (2) Engine Pumpers in order to meet our current technological requirements. This will deplete the monies in this 2016 Community Investment Plan account (CB1618).

FINANCIAL IMPACT: The cost of the two (2) Engine Pumpers is $907,920 plus $2,080 for technological modifications and installation is included in account 401-2201-550.54-04 (CB1618) of the 2016 Community Investment Plan.
