BACKGROUND:  Bradley University is teaming up with NASA to facilitate the 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge (3DP), Structural Member Competition.  Competitors will be working with 3D printers to build habitats for Mars.  This is a collaboration between NASA, Bradley and industry leaders including Caterpillar.  It is designed to continue advancing critical systems needed for human space exploration to Mars and deeper into the solar system than ever before.  The on-site competition will take place at Caterpillar's Edwards facility August 24-26, 2017.
