BACKGROUND: Ricardo and Jesus Martinez, Owners, presented a Site Application for a Class B (restaurant, 50% food) Liquor License for 1621 N. Knoxville Ave. The Liquor Commission voted unanimously to recommend Approval of this Site Application with the restriction of the sale of alcohol for On-Site Consumption Only without the authority to sell packaged alcoholic liquors for Off-Site Consumption. Minutes of the Liquor Commission Meeting are attached.

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: One neighborhood resident submitted signatures of neighboring residents and spoke in regards to previous code issues and the poor condition of the site. On behalf of the neighborhood, he asked for assurance that those conditions would not happen again at this site.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: This site will be approved to offer alcoholic beverages along with food to its patrons.
IMPACT IF DENIED: This site will not be approved to offer any kind of alcohol with its food.
