BACKGROUND:  The request is requesting to rezone the property from a Class CN (Neighborhood Commercial) to a Class 1-2 (Railroad/Industrial) District.  Additional information is provided in the attached Planning and Zoning Commission memo dated July 6, 2017.

 

On July 6, 2017, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5 - 0 to approve the request.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:  N/A

 

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS:  None expressed at the hearing.

                     

IMPACT IF APPROVED: The zoning of this parcel will become consistent with surrounding zoning on the subject block.  Uses permitted in the I-2 district, along with required performance standards specified in the Unified Development Code will apply.

 

IMPACT IF DENIED:  The property will remain zoned CN, Neighborhood Commercial.
