BACKGROUND: CLIFTONLARSONALLEN LLP delivered the 2016 Comprehensive Annual Report (CAFR) to the City on August 31, 2016. The report continues to include all component units as required by accounting principles generally accepted in the United States.
We believe this report meets the requirements for the Governmental Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The 2016 CAFR has been submitted to the Government Finance Officers Association for consideration for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report has received the award for the past sixteen (16) years.
