Communication from the City Manager and Director of Community Development with a Request to ADOPT an ORDINANCE Renaming PRECAST WAY to SW JIMAX PLACE, Peoria, Illinois.

BACKGROUND: The City of Peoria has received a request from Jim Kosner of Jimax, to rename Precast Way to SW Jimax Place. A copy of their written request is attached as Attachment A. Jimax has recently purchased the property at 3545 Precast Way and intends to relocate their business to this location. The purchased parcel is the only property addressed on this street.
Notification letters were sent to adjacent property owners and numerous quasi-governmental agencies. To date, no comments, questions, or concerns have been received.

IMPACT IF APPROVED: Precast Way will be renamed to SW Jimax Place.
