The Township’s Supervisor’s Office plans to change over to the GATI (General Assistance Training Institute) handbook from the Peoria Township Handbook, so that the Supervisor’s Office will be more in line with the Township of Illinois Rules and Regulations. By following the GATI handbook, the Supervisor’s Office can purchase the Visual GA software that will streamline the voucher system currently implemented. The GATI rules and regulations are uniformly used in every Township throughout the State. By following the GATI handbook, the Supervisor’s Office will be much more efficient when it comes to tracing and distributing vouchers. Also it will help in audits and will be an all-around more efficient way to manage clients’ needs.
