BACKGROUND: Auturo Vargas and Carla Zamora-Vargas, Co-Owners, presented a Site Application to change from a Class A (tavern) to a Class B (restaurant, 50% food) Liquor License, with an existing Subclass 1A (2:00 a.m. closing hours), and to add a Subclass 2 (live entertainment), a Subclass 3A (sidewalk café) and a Subclass 3 (beer garden), with the stipulation that a commercial grade glass door must be installed inside of the restaurant that would service the proposed beer garden and a video security camera system must also be installed, both within two months at 306 Pecan. The Liquor Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of this Site Application. Minutes of the Liquor Commission Meeting are attached.
