Title

Communication from the City Manager and Director of Community Development with a Request to Concur with the Recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission and Staff to ADOPT an ORDINANCE Amending APPENDIX A, the Unified Development Code, Relating to MANUFACTURED BUILDING SALES.

Body

BACKGROUND:  Currently the Unified Development Code notes Manufactured Housing Sales in the permitted use table.  The term Housing limits this use to house structures only.  The proposed text amendment modifies the term Housing to Manufactured Building Sales.  This is intended to include all types of manufactured buildings, not limited to housing.

This type of use is permitted in the Industrial zoning districts only.

The Planning & Zoning Commission voted 4 to 0 to approve the text amendment.  See the attached Planning & Zoning Commission meeting minutes.
