BACKGROUND: The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) presented to the City of Peoria a report titled, Documentation Review #72. The report covers the receipts and disbursements of Motor Fuel Tax funds by the City for the period January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2017. The report is a documentation review conducted by the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Local Roads and Streets. An audit will be performed at a later date by an auditor from the Bureau of Investigations and Compliance. Please see attached Report.
