Body

BACKGROUND:  Petitioner Bernard Dumyahn of Mastec Network Solutions, LLC, is requesting to remove a 15-foot section of an existing wireless communication tower and replace with a 20-foot section resulting in a tower height of 168 feet, measured to the top of the pole.

 

The Planning & Zoning Commission found that the request met the Findings of Fact and voted 7 to 0 to APPROVE with the following condition:

1)                     Provide solid screening for the street facing façade of the fenced equipment facility.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:  N/A

 

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS (at the Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting):  None 

                     

IMPACT IF APPROVED:  The wireless communication tower may be modified to a height of 168 feet with improved screening of the equipment facility at the base of the tower.

 

IMPACT IF DENIED:  The wireless communication tower will not be modified and will remain as currently constructed.
