Communication from the City Manager and Emergency Communications Center Manager with a Request to APPROVE an AGREEMENT for Emergency Notification Services with ONSOLVE, in the Amount of $30,000.00 per year.

BACKGROUND:  The City of Peoria has provided emergency notification services in partnership with Peoria County for over 20 years. Onsolve/Code Red has been our provider since 2008. We were able to negotiate a $ 11,875 yearly rate reduction from Onsolve. The new rate is $ 30,000 per year of which Peoria County will reimburse the City of Peoria $ 15,000. 

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT: $ 30,000 per year of which $ 15,000 per year will be reimbursed by Peoria County.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS:  None

                     

IMPACT IF APPROVED: Continue to provide emergency notification to citizens of Peoria and Peoria County.

 

IMPACT IF DENIED: Would not be able to provide timely emergency notification to citizens.

 

ALTERNATIVES: A new request for proposal could be sent out to vendors.
