BACKGROUND: There are areas under the Murray Baker Bridge within the boundaries of the Downtown Conservation TIF that need to be secured from general pedestrian access. This budget amendment would provide a funding source to fund such projects.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: $15,000 from the Downtown Conservation TIF fund balance.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: NA
IMPACT IF APPROVED: A project would be created to erect safety and security fencing under the Murray Baker Bridge.
IMPACT IF DENIED: Safety and security fencing would not be erected under the Murray Baker Bridge.
