Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works with a Request to APPROVE a Sole Source PURCHASE from WESCO DISTRIBUTION INC., in the Amount of $27,846.00, for the MURRAY BAKER BRIDGE Lighting and Emergency Repairs.

BACKGROUND: The warranty for the LED decorative lighting on the Murray Baker Bridge recently expired on November 10th, 2021. To maintain the lighting, spare lights need to be purchased now that the warranty has expired. The quote for the materials is attached.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The operational budget does not have funds available to pay Wesco without a budget amendment.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: None.
IMPACT IF APPROVED: The LED lighting on the Murray Baker Bridge will be maintained by having replacement lights on hand.
IMPACT IF DENIED: In the event of an emergency, spare lights would need to be ordered and could potentially be on backorder or shipping could be delayed.
