Communication from the City Manager and Director of Community Development with a Request to ADOPT an ORDINANCE Amending Appendix A, the Unified Development Code, Relating to a Technical Correction to VARIATIONS WITHIN FORM DISTRICTS, Due to a Codification Error.

BACKGROUND: On October 27, 2020, the City Council approved ordinance no. 17,803 which amended Appendix A, the Unified Development Code, for various text amendments. One of the amendments regarding variations within Form Districts required applicants to adhere to the variance process versus the special use process. The attached ordinance corrects a codification error from the above-mentioned ordinance to reflect the original intent.
