BACKGROUND: On May 11, 2022, BioUrja, located at 1 Edmund St, had an explosion in one (1) of their grain bins causing several structural and safety concerns. With the use of Peoria Fire Department manpower and equipment, reimbursement of wages and expenditures was presented to BioUrja. The payment received will help balance the overtime and equipment usage in relation to the Fire Department 2022 budget.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: This will return funds to the 2022 budget.
