Communication from the City Manager and Director of Public Works with a Request to ADOPT an ORDINANCE Amending CHAPTER 28 of the CODE of the City of Peoria, Relating to the TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION.

BACKGROUND: Currently, Section 28-63 of the Code of the City of Peoria states that the Transportation Commission meetings shall be held monthly. The Commission voted at their September 20, 2022, meeting to change the language in Section 28-63 to allow the flexibility of administratively canceling meetings and/or canceling meetings if there are no agenda items or no action items requiring a vote.

IMPACT IF APPROVED: The meetings will continue to be monthly unless there are no agenda items; then the meetings will be canceled.
