BACKGROUND: Fire Recovery USA is a company that assists cities and fire departments with cost recovery funding programs. They work as a third party to invoice and collect recovery funds and reimburse fire departments for services. By using Fire Recovery USA, the established relationships with insurance companies aids in collecting and securing reimbursements minimizing staff and fire personnel. Fire Recovery USA was the only entity to submit a bit in response to the city’s RFP for these services.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: This will assist in recovering fees and potentially generating funds.

IMPACT IF APPROVED: This will generate funds to add to the Fire Departments budget.
