BACKGROUND: Chris Herold, Owner, Champs of Peoria, Inc., d/b/a Bloody Mary Bruch Co., presented a request for a Class B (Restaurant, 50% food) Liquor License, with a Subclass 3A (sidewalk café) at 708 W. Glen Ave. The Liquor Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of this Site Application, with a stipulation that the sidewalk café closes at 2:00 p.m. when the kitchen closed. Minutes of the Liquor Commission Meeting are attached.

NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS: A neighborhood resident expressed her concerns regarding the potential noise of a bar with an outdoor sidewalk café. Mr. Herold agreed to close the sidewalk café’ at 2:00 p.m. when the kitchen closed.

IMPACT IF DENIED: This site will not be able to serve or sell any kind of alcohol.
