BACKGROUND: As part of the continuing maintenance of the City of Peoria's buildings asset, repair or replacement of components is periodically required. This contract provides for the masonry tuck pointing of Fire Station #4 and unit pricing for additional brick repair of those buildings. This will include the tuck-pointing of the entire building, replacing the lintels over the doors and windows, and replacing the windows on the lower level (apparatus bay).

Seven vendors were solicited for bids and bids were received and opened May 1, 2018, with three bidders responding as follows:

FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding for these repairs was originally budgeted out of the General Fund in the approved Community Investment Plan but Staff is recommending utilizing South Village TIF funds for these improvements.
